and Head of Washington Operations

May, 2023

Beacon Interactive System is pleased to announce that Col(ret) Wes Hallman has joined the company as Executive Vice President for Business Development and Head of Washington Operations.  Following a distinguished US Air Force career as a fighter pilot, commander, White House Fellow, and Chief Liaison to the House of Representatives, Hallman comes to Beacon after serving as the Senior Vice President for Strategy and Policy and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).

“Wes brings with him a background of uniformed service to our nation coupled with experience at the highest levels of our nation’s government, building and managing partnerships with our allies, and a passion for a defense industrial base that advantages our warfighters,” said ML Mackey, Beacon’s Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. “Having worked with him in various advocacy positions over the years, I have witnessed firsthand what a stellar and thoughtful leader Wes is.  We are very glad to have him join our team,“ added Mackey.

Hallman will report to CEO ML Mackey.

Hallman joins Beacon at a pivotal time, as the company scales its operational impact to the Warfighter and prepares to deliver increased capacity and interoperability for its partners and allies.  With programs of record producing results for the Navy, a flightline digitization capability rolling out to the Air Force, and multiple other efforts underway in the Department of Defense, Beacon looks forward to continued partnerships with its valued government customers.

“With his hands-on experience and critical perspective on the realities of military operations as well as his unique insights into how to deliver on these needs, Wes is already adding tremendous value to the team,” said Mike MacEwen, Co-founder and President of Beacon. “I look forward to his further contributions to our product development efforts and working together to make a difference in the experience of our Warfighters,” he added.

“I am excited to “be a part of bringing our warfighters and those of our allies and partners the operational impacts of best-in-class digitized sustainment and the data insights that result,” said Wes Hallman, Executive Vice President for Business Development and Head of Washington Operations.  “You can’t employ the F-15 if it’s not ready to fly,” he added.
